Susan Sakmar is the former Chair of the Jane Goodall Institute and author of the award-winning novel ‘Energy for the 21st-Century: Opportunities and Challenges for LNG’.As a visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Houston Law Center, Susan developed and teaches a seminar that focuses on regulatory and environmental issues for global shale gas development and LNG project development. She is a member of the State Bar of California with over 20 years of experience working in a variety of legal, corporate and non-profit environments, including as an attorney in the commercial litigation department of a major San Francisco law firm and an accountant for Chevron.
